About
I run the business my clients are running.
I breed cats and run my own cattery, and I've been building websites since 2023. The first one was my own cattery's, with my own kittens riding on whether it worked. An agency doesn't have to live with the site it sells you. I have to live with mine.

How this started
I built my own cattery's site because the Wix one was costing me inquiries and I was tired of paying somebody to change a word. Then another breeder asked. Then a third, and the same few things were broken on every one of them. Six pet business websites later, two of them written up on the work page, I still find those same things broken on most sites I open.
When a page stops pulling inquiries I find out the slow way, from a quiet inbox in the middle of a litter. Most of what I fix on other people's sites I've already had to fix on mine.
I also run PDX Flight Nanny, which flies kittens in the cabin out of Portland to buyers around the country. It's why the pages here about how an animal gets to its buyer are written by somebody who has made the trip.
What I do
Redesign the site so it looks modern. Draw it for the phone screen first and open it out to the desktop, because that is where a lot of your buyers will see it. Move you off Wix or Squarespace without losing the ranking you've already earned. Set the pages up so Google and ChatGPT can tell what you breed, where you are and whether you have kittens right now. Then hand you the editor, so it doesn't go stale between litters.
Custom coded, and what that means for you
Every site is custom coded. It's built for your cattery as its own set of files, instead of being assembled inside Wix or Squarespace from a template other breeders are using at the same time. Nothing about it is shared with anybody else's site. There's no builder subscription underneath it, and the pages can be made to say the words your buyers are typing into Google.
It also means you can't drag the pages around yourself the way you can in a builder. What you can do, from your phone, is the part that changes week to week: add a kitten or a puppy, upload photographs, mark one reserved, retire it when it goes home. That's the editor, and it comes with every build. Anything else, a new paragraph or a price, you write to me and I change it. There's no charge for it and no quote to wait on, because that is what the care plan is for.
What I won't do
- Sell you a rebuild you don't need. If your site is fine and what you need is three pages written, that is what I'll tell you.
- Keep your site from you. After six months you can leave, and the site and your web address go with you at no charge.
Cats or dogs
Both. I come from the cat side, which shows in the examples. The work is nearly identical either way, and what changes is the registries, the health testing and the words people type.
