This is the editor that comes with every build, running here with made-up kittens in it. Type a name, pick a photograph from your own computer, press Add to the site. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and nothing you do here reaches us.
Six places move from one edit here. On a finished site it is more, because every litter page, popup and feed reads from the same list. The photograph you choose is read in your own browser and never sent to us.
Why it matters
The reason breeder sites go stale.
It's almost never the design. Updating the site is somebody else's job, so the kittens page tells a buyer what was true a month ago.
A breeder website is a small inventory system that happens to have photographs on it. A kitten is reserved, then goes home, and that fact has to reach the card, the litter page, the banner, the count at the top, the list of pages you hand to Google and the machine-readable facts a search engine reads. Do that by hand in six places and it gets done in three.
Every build here comes with the editor above, and every care plan includes support for it. You change one thing and the site rebuilds itself in about a minute. It has been running the kitten listings on a live cattery site ever since that build went in.
