What the free check can't do

The free check is a machine. It fetches your pages, reads the words and the hidden facts in them, and lists what it finds. It's useful, and it's why it's free.

There are three things it can't do.

It has never asked ChatGPT anything. There's no AI in it at all. It can't tell you what an AI answer says about your cattery, because it has never looked.
It doesn't know who your competitors are. It reads your site and only your site.
It can't tell you which finding matters most for you. It hands you a list. Sorting that list for your breed, your state and your situation is a judgment, and judgment is the part a person does.

What is in the report

What the AI answers say about you. We ask ChatGPT, Google's AI answers and Perplexity the questions your buyers ask. "Who breeds Ragdolls in Ohio?" "What should I look for?" We write down who gets named, what's said about them, and whether you appear at all.
Who is coming up instead, and why. The two or three breeders being named ahead of you, with their addresses, and the specific things their pages do that yours doesn't. You can go and look at every one.
Everything the automated check found, sorted. Not in the order a machine produced them, but with the ones that matter for you first.
The order of work. What to do first, what can wait, and which parts you can do yourself in an afternoon without paying anybody.

What isn't in it

No score out of ten. We ran our own tool against the same site more than once and didn't get the same answer twice. A score from an instrument that can't repeat itself invites you to run it and get a different one. So this site publishes findings and never a score.
No work done to your site. This is a reading, not a repair. Nothing on your site changes and we never touch your account.
Nothing you can't check yourself. Every claim says where it came from. If the report says ChatGPT named somebody else, go and ask it.

One caveat said plainly, because it's true of everybody selling this. Ask an AI the same question twice and you can get two different answers. So the report records what we saw and the date we saw it, and it's a look rather than a measurement. Anybody promising you a permanent position in an AI answer is promising something nobody controls.

How it runs

You send your web address. That's the only thing we need.

You get it in writing, so you can act on it without us, or hand it to whoever looks after your site.

What it costs

$25. One payment, nothing monthly, no obligation to buy anything afterwards. It's done the day you order it, so it isn't refunded.

Book a build within 30 days and the whole $25 comes off the price of it.

If the report says you don't need a build, that is the answer, and you have a written list of what to do instead. Our prices for the work are on the packages page either way.

Questions

Is this the same as the free check?

No, and the free check stays free. That one is a machine reading the words in your pages and listing what it finds, in a few seconds. It has never asked ChatGPT a question, it doesn't know who your competitors are, and it can't tell you which of its findings matters most for your cattery. This is the half that needs a person.

Do you need access to my website?

No. Your web address is all we need. No password, no login, nothing added to your account, and nothing on your site changes.

Will it just tell me I need a new website?

Only if you do. If your site is fine and the writing is the gap, it'll say that. We have a whole page on when a rebuild is the wrong answer, and we aren't going to contradict it in a paid report.

What if I go on to book a build?

The whole $25 comes off the price, as long as the build is booked within 30 days. If you were always going to rebuild, the report costs you nothing.

Will ChatGPT tell me the same thing if I ask it myself?

It might not. AI answers vary between runs and between people, which is exactly why the report says what we saw and the date we saw it, and treats it as a look rather than a measurement. You're encouraged to go and ask it yourself.

Is there a score out of ten?
