Process
Two weeks at most, and most of it does not need you.
Every build launches inside two weeks, and a rush inside one. Some are done in a few days. The order below is the same every time. What changes is how long each step takes, and two of the steps only exist when there is an old site to replace.
What happens, in order
We call or email you with a checklist of what we need and anything on your current site we need explained. Where the site already has it right, we take it from there. Anything nobody can confirm stays off the new site and is never filled in with a guess.
Every page is saved before anything changes, with its photographs, text and addresses. Only when there is an old site.
You see the home page and one inner page, in your palette, with your words. Three rounds of changes are included, and after the third the design is final.
Pages, photographs, the facts behind each page, the editor and the availability engine. You get a link to watch it happen.
Every address on the old site is pointed at its new home, so the rebuild does not cost you the ranking you already had. Only when there is an old site.
Your web address points at the new site, Google is told where the pages are, we show you how the editor works, and you get a copy of the finished site. Then the care plan starts.
What we need from you
Your answers to the checklist, by email or on a call, and your photographs. Access to your web address and your current site comes up during the build, and we tell you when. After that we only get in touch when something needs you.
What to have ready
- Photographs of your adults and your last litter, at full size, straight from the phone or camera.
- The words you already have: your about page, your FAQ, how your waitlist works.
- Your price, or the band you are happy to publish.
- Your contract and your health results as files, so they can be shown.
What stalls a build is photographs. Have good ones of your adults and your last litter ready at the start and the build runs on schedule.
